So if there is no exam specific to New Jersey, then how can the state feel confident that a licensee is minimally competent to practice surveying in the state.?ÿ Are they hanging their hat on a 4 year degree in surveying??ÿ While I place high value in education, earning a degree in the professional does not make one ready to practice.
And yes I do understand that there is a requirement to show relevant experience.
Will New Jersey now offer reciprocity for other state licensee's?
