For those needing PDH's for this year, or are needing information on GPS and it's applications, the Mississippi Association of Professional Surveyors will be having a seminar this coming weekend. In particular, Robert Martin of Navigation Electronics (NEI) will be presenting a day long seminar on Global Positionong Systems. Seven PDH hours can be earned at this event in Oxford, Mississippi, during the Friday session.

Here is a link to our website with additional information on the seminar and information about our state society. http://www.mississippisurveyor.co m">LINK

Robert Martin is a really good instructor and is our local Carlson go-to guy. (NEI is just a bad name to call your business because people like me will refer to you as " The Man from Neh".)
Before going to his class, make a list of questions or problems you may be having. Robert knows a LOT of stuff, including who to call when he gets stuck.
Also, all you Carlson users, be sure to get Robert's card. NEI will do you right on that next up-grade and Robert has been known to come on site to look at an issue you may be having. Lately he's been by our office at least once a month just to check on things.
A VERY good guy to know. (AND don't anyone tell him that I have been saying good things about him!! It will undo a lot of "training" that I have worked real hard on the last few months.
