The guy with the plaid shirt is Scott Freshwaters; the guy with the beard, in the foreground is Mike Berry, I think. Hard to tell that close...

The female is my daughter. She is a PE/LS and I'm more than a little bit proud of her. I took the picture so I'm not in it. JB Stahl is on her left and one of her business partners is on her right. Scott Freshwaters is in the red plaid shirt across from her and one of the guys I used to work with is on Scott's left. Mike Berry is in the bottom right wearing a baseball cap.

That's Kevin Samuel (@Kevin Samuel) in the lower left across the table from me. To Kevin's left is @dnelson80 of Eugene. At the end of the table by Scott and JB Stahl are a couple of other illustrious Oregon surveyors who will remain anonymous. Although he wasn't at the beerlegger, I also got to see Wendell Harness for about 20 seconds on Friday.

John Minor, it was great meeting your daughter and your former co-workers. Youth- the future of our profession. And, as usual it was great reconnecting with old friends from across the state and meeting new ones. I'm happiest in the company of surveyors. Especially Oregon surveyors. To quote former governor Tom McCall, "‰ÛÏOregon is an inspiration. Whether you come to it, or born to it, you become entranced by our state‰Ûªs beauty, the opportunity she affords, and the independent spirit of her citizens.‰Û You got that right, guv'ner. Especially the last part.

And as to @JBStahl , great presentations man. 2 days at 8 hours of lecturing a day. In a 90å¡ room crowded with hundreds of surveyors. You're an Olympic marathoner. It's going to take me years to process everything you so easily explained in the course of two days.

I think that is Tim Verney in the background holding two coats.
