I dropped in at the Missouri Conference yesterday, all masked up and socially distanced...There were some good lectures and Don Wilson is talking today (virtually). Good historical info currently available on the interwebs...Those like me that collect pdfs, have at it!

Had intended to go.?ÿ Decided I could wait a bit in hopes of the world improving and no more masks being required.?ÿ Still have 18 months to get all of my CE credits.
Ours will be in two weeks. This time it's going to be remote using the office conference room and 6 attending.?ÿ
Two or three weeks ago there was a major farm show scheduled in Springfield, MO not very far from the site of the current MSPS convention.?ÿ Typically there are 10,000 to 20,000 attendees at the farm show over the three days held there in early October every year since 1980.?ÿ It was an absolute failure.?ÿ Some locals who actually drove over to take it in like they have for decades came back to report it was an empty ghost town compared to prior years.
@holy-cow Work hasn't had me in Springfield for a bit. But I have never seen so many homeless-crack-head folks walking around. During the time I was filling up I saw two drug deals go down, prostitutes just chillin on the curb by the Circle K Gas station. Squatters have tent villages set up along I-44 at the clover leaf. When I checked into the Hampton Inn I asked the nice lady if all the meth heads are normal, "yeah been like that since they closed everything down". I couldn't wait to get out of there.
