I have received the permit from Boston Parks and we are on for a Surveyors Gathering March 18th, 10am to 4pm.
We have the bandstand as well as the surrounding lawn areas to show equipment and meet with peers and public!
This is the "kickoff" to National Surveyors Week, and since I haven't heard of another "Measure America" event I thought that we in new England/MA could have our own little event.
I have asked each chapter to provide a tent to display equipment and we will have some surveyor games, such as "guess the distance' etc... Some ideas would be welcome!!
