Friday the 10th and Saturday 11th Dave Ingram brought his A game to Kellyville Community Center and presented a stellar set of seminars for 43± attendees at the TSPS Chapter 23 annual Jefferson Historical Seminar.
Thank you Dave 🙂
Thanks for having me. Jefferson Days are always fun!
My GOD Shawn is looking old!!!!!
j/k. Looks like a good time was had. I'll try to catch the next one!
🙂
I started to make a similar observation a little earlier, but decided to abstain. But now that you opened the subject up .... Shawn, if you don't quit hanging around old surveyors you are going to start looking like one. It already may be too late to save you...looks like you are already suffering from the disease...
DDSM is ageing nicely. I wonder when he lost the pony tail. 🙂

Thanks for the compliment…
I lost the queue about 5 years ago. Viiram still has his and wears it with panache.
I really enjoyed the Jefferson event and meeting a few fellow beerleggers.

I can only name a few...

I’m standing behind Sarah Yang in the third photo…
C.T. “Pat” Patterson is running the ‘gun’ in the forth photo…
J.B. Brennion (front right in blue plaid shirt) is pointing at their team’s field notes.

Steaks right off the grill for lunch!
Sure beats the rubber chicken and cold cuts on little rolls typically served at the seminars out here. 🙁 (where's the rumbling belly emoticon?)
Lunch was catered BBQ
At the end of the 1st day Chapter 23 cooked steaks for everyone that wanted to hang around and visit.
Chef Mike Gardner
Actually the steaks were for supper.
Lunch was BBQ from Joseph's - one of the 50 best BBQ joints in TX.
Good eats all around.
Would liked to have been there but I didn't get the memo.
Bruce
Wow, a carnivore's dream day! Now I'm really jealous.
I suppose I am starting to look like a surveyor. I'm still in my thirties, but looks like I'm headed straight to my fifties.
Thanks for noticing. haha!
Dave,
that was a lot of fun. definitely gave me some real perspective on not just the field work, but the calculations that would have accompanied them. Those compasses were in fantastic condition. Thanks! looking forward to a theodolite/transit seminar.
They do this every May. Keep your eyes open for next year.
