Do they allow any CE credits to be carried over?
ZERO - NADA - NONE
So you are in Vero?
Thanks for the replies. I need three hours and the Florida society doesn't have a three hour course I want to take. I guess I will take the correspondence course from Auburn on the material I sat and listened to.

Couple other options...
I'm sure there are others. There is a link on the state site of approved providers/courses, but it wouldn't open...

I've never used them, but "Red Vector" has some 3 hour courses for ~$75.

I used RV several years ago... the FL MTS course was outdated... and I had to block their number to stop the marketing calls even after stating I wasn't interested....

Well, for those that haven't kept up with this idiotic saga, here is the cliff notes version.
Auburn University is approved to provide continuing education by the Florida Surveyor's board. Auburn is specifically approved to give a 3 hour correspondence course entitled "Great Surveyors and their Surveys." Back in November I went to Huntsville, Alabama and took a course in a class room setting entitled "Great Surveyors and their Surveys" with Milton Denny as the instructor. This course was a 6 hour course. I was later told that there is no way I would get any credit at all because the course I took was not approved. So, I suspect that Monday I will sign up to take the 3 hour correspondence course from Auburn University. What's going to happen is I will take the test at the end based on what I remember from earlier instead of re-reading it.
This entire fiasco has made me resolute in my desire to end the tyrannical idea of pre-approving continuing education courses. If we're not to be trusted to make proper judgements on what constitutes continuing education, we certainly shouldn't be in a position to stake property lines.
Just got up to date a few weeks ago w/ McKissock. Mabye a little pricey, but the content was pretty good and they have the added benefit of reporting the credits to the FL board for you.
