Has anyone tried this??ÿ If so how were your results?
Any idea if this or anything else also works for mosquitos?
There's definitely something to body chemistry with these little devils.?ÿ I can be in the woods with three other guys and they get lit up by ticks and I won't even have one on me.?ÿ Mosquitos on the other hand seem to love me.?ÿ There are other times where I get just as many ticks as other people, so I'm wondering if it is something I ate??ÿ I eat a lot of garlic and seasonings.?ÿ I love paprika, chili powder, and even curry.?ÿ But I don't eat curry often enough to credit it for anything.?ÿ Infrequently I'll down a shot of water with a quarter teaspoon of turmeric for several days in a row.?ÿ It's as good as medicine for joint inflammation.
I spent last summer working on a project on the tick infested lower Klamath River.?ÿ My wife supplied me with this concoction of essential oils and water, mixed up right there in the sink, that we use on our dogs.?ÿ It seemed to work quite well and had the added benefit smelling better than me after living in trailer for weeks on end.?ÿ It had citronella, mint and tea tree oils to name a few.?ÿ If anyone cares, I can try to pry the potion ingredients from my wife later today.?ÿ?ÿ
peppermint oil.?ÿ they hate that stuff.?ÿ at least the ones around here do.
