Not really, but it seemed that way. She is nine years older than myself and she married at barely sixteen.

My mother is the oldest of three girls. My Dad was the oldest of two boys except his Mother (the oldest of four except for a sister who died at two weeks old in 1900) adopted a nephew born out of wedlock to the youngest sister (my Aunt Sally who I personally knew).
