I woke this morning with an tune in my head, I believe they are called earworms. A good one for once and not some godawful song.
Do you remember this?
"I keep getting richer but I can't get my picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone"
Golden oldie. Dr Hook & the Medicine Show. Remembered it right away, didn't have the energy to dig around in my "brain" to find the rest of the info. So, thank you Google.

(you're welcome)
Dr. Hook is a far better tune than some that have gotten stuck in my head.
I had this stuck in my head the other day for some reason...

Didn't care for it 47 years ago...still don't.

The guitar and the banjo appear to be getting a workout without making the slightest noise.

You can stretch right up and touch the sky!
That's what happens whenever I hear a Ray Stevens tune.............it stays and stays until one comes along that is able to take over.

Ethel you get your clothes on, you shameless huzzy.
I did a fairly significant bridge job many years ago just a few miles outside of Hahira, Georgia. That is featured in one of his songs. I don't know if he is from there so not.

Unbelievable!!!! I was thinking of a couple songs of the "Bankrupt" album just a couple days ago. That was one of them!!!
"I Got Stoned and I Missed It" was the one that kept buzzing my brain.
"Elvis he's my hero.
He's a super star.
And they say that Paul McCartney drives a Rolls Royce car.
What a hilarious song!!!
Hey Steve where have you been? I tried calling several over the last few years to no avail.
You still with Duke Power?
E
I've had a Bangles song hanging out in my head for the last week because I heard it in a store. I've tried everything to get rid of it. I have played every catchy song known to man, and the Bangles song just keeps popping back up again. So if you don't hear from me for a long time, I've probably been committed.

You can't underestimate the power of the Bangles. Susanna Hoffs apparently made a deal with the dark powers to allow her to stay smoking hot into her 50's

She is a natural wonder.

Thanks for that.
So then I had to listen to "walk like an Egyptian"
Which led me to Steve martins "king tut"
And that made me laugh, but I'll probably have that in my head all morning
