Dee Anna spotted 10 of these meandering across our property Wednesday morning.
I was talking to a neighbor today and he saw a bull with the girls, but we did not see him.

awesome!

we've got a couple of whitetails that hang around our little patch of woods. it would take 3 or 4 of them to make one of those cows.

Wow, I'd be shocked, too, if I saw an electrified cross in my front yard!!

That's just the way Scott marks his corners-with an electric cross nailed to a lath.

We typically have 10 to 20 whitetails in the yard, much smaller than those. We had a bunch of turkeys last year, but haven't seen a one this year.

Now I don't mind the deer, but I wish I could get rid of the groundhogs (ala Punxy Phil), and the three raccoons that live in the barn. Illegal to discharge weapons in my town.

yeah, shooting is illegal in my hometown, too. this is my wagon on a friday night. parked directly in front of the hacienda. the intended victim escaped that night, but was killed two days later, didn't hide well enough

i usually leave the windows down at night, and unlock the doors. that way the knuckleheads can shoot at each other from my car to the other, and i don't lose any glass over it.

yes, don. it really happened

Not nearly as majestic as elk, but in front of our house this week: A pair of raccoons, herd of three deer, and a family of six javelinas. Three of the javelinas were at the front door. The biggest javelina was rubbing his butt on the car cover post - don't know if he was marking his territory or he had an itchy butt.

oh I didn't doubt it, being Baltimore and all that...didn't that used to be called "Sin City?"

By the way, Eddie, did I ever tell you I was born at Baltimore General? That was few years ago of course...

They make very powerful pellet guns now that may be legal.
