Us over here in Atlanta are very interested in this game. I trust that the majority here are Falcon Fans and will be sending good vibes to Houston. That's all except the exalted bovine. HC please favor New England. It will be tough but it would be great to see the birds rise up.
Since the Seahawks chose not to participate this time I don't have a vested interest, but I can't stand Belichick, so I'll be rooting a bit for the birds.
Sorry. I normally cheer for any old AFL team (not the same as AFC) but this year I thought I would put my support behind the Falcons.

Wait until the odds makers in Vegas hear this.
I'm pulling for the Falcons...and I'm a Green Bay Packer fan....
That's how bad I hate the Pates.
Somebody has to say it... Pulling for Brady to get #5

Would expect it from Who Dat
As a Saint's supporter , I am very lightly leaning to the Dirty Birds.
Primarily for 2 dubious reasons. 1., Ending the Pats dynastic hold on the game. 2. The quick demise of the Dirty Birds in the NFC South.
It seems the SB winners and losers go through a self destruction following the game. Look at last years teams and others too.
All except the Pats.
But I'm ambivalent about cheering for either.
That being said...I would never bet against Belichek. He is likely the most prominent in the pantheon of coaches. I like him and don't know why anyone would detest him.
6 SB rings (2 as DC of the Giants). He also wears the GM hat. He shrewdly brings in the right players to form a winning chemistry. The lacrosse player Chis Hogan from North Jersey is a perfect example. Martellus Bennett too.
Should be a good game because both teams deserve to be there.
Robert if the Saints were there I would be for them. The reason that I hope we win this year is the Saints and Panthers have just had a bad year. They are not that far from being a contender. The Panthers will most likely turn it around and Tampa is getting close. Even if we remain a very good team, it may be a while before we can get back to the Big game. Let's face it. A little luck is usually involved. (IE: Injuries) I believe the NFC South is only going to get tougher in the foreseeable future .
I'm not pulling against the Falcons per se... I'd be pulling for the Pats against almost anybody other than the Saints. I just want to see Brady get his fifth; as you said, it's hard to get there and he may not get another opportunity.

Saints didn't have a bad year just par.
Saints have excelled at mediocrity for quite a few years now. The Bountygate episode added to the problems.
Biggest problem is GM now and ownership. Some good drafts and trades but nullified by some atrocious deals.
Owner has dementia plus other health problems. Recently, I was watching the Pelicans play the Cav without ADavis and they were winning easily. Big thing. The camera would pan a few times to his private box after an exciting play...and he was exhibiting "no lights on". He used to sit court side.
Major legal fights among family for bigger pieces of the family's wealth.
When Benson purchased the NBA team, he placed the Saints GM to oversee the NBA team. So major management woes.
Payton does have a knack at finding unknown talent but how many miracles can he manifest.
That is a dedicated fan..............
I have been and will remain a true Cowboy fan till the end. Such wasted talent has passed thru Dallas and when the play is called from the Party Box, things go the way they have. They also have a habit of setting back on their heels before the game has ended and relying upon certain players to pull off trick plays that costs them too many on the field by some smart arssed quarterbacks........
Apart from that, mostly I root for players instead of teams.
I enjoy hearing that the Saints lost and a few certain coaches are dissatisfied while some players still had a good day.
It would make me fall from my chair in robust appreciation if only once any one of the extra long haired players I can not tell you who because their hair covers their name and number were hammer thrown into the crowd.
Would like to see the Falcons pull it off and Brady can not be underestimated.
Let it be a good game.
Gonna have a few drinks, fry some fresh caught catfish with slaw, hush puppies and a few fries.
It appears my jinxing abilities still hold. Those darned Patriots did it again. All I have to do is root for one team and that team is doomed.

Really?
Talk about kicking a dog while it is down.
Just damn.
Until this past Thursday I didn't know who was even in the SB.

You cannot deny Belichek is a talented coach. If you cannot understand why so many detest him, maybe you should look into his past. I'll even put the proven issues of cheating aside. He treats people like crap, whether they work for the organization or play for it. He is contemptuous of everyone and everything he deems not important to his little universe.

I love how people like to just mention the "cheating", without actually naming what he did, like it's just an acknowledged and horrible fact.
I'm not going to pretend that he didn't break the rules. But take a look at what other teams have done, and you tell me where taping from a banned location ranks with some of the offenses that other teams have committed.
And deflategate, nothing was proven there. I hope if someone's trying to nail me on something, that I don't go down on the same kind of shoddy evidence that what was used to convict Brady and the Patriots.
How he treats people? I don't know your sources, but there are disgruntled and offended people everywhere. Your post is hearsay.
