In both Seattle and Austin there is a good chance you'll see a hipster wandering around lost looking for a gluten free taco place they read about on Reddit.

Seattle is the only place I've seen (I don't get out much, though); someone wandering around wearing a Parka (winter clothing) and someone wearing shorts and a Tee Shirt. All in the same area and it doesn't matter the month; August or January...

I am officially out here for another year, but if the stars align just right, it could be sometime between Sep and Dec of this year.

Ahhh, the change of seasons west of the Cascades...right between "it doesn't rain all summer long, but don't let the rest of the nation know" season and ''if it rains one more day I swear i'm opening a f'n vein" season

View that changes constantly.
A few years ago I started taking a photo at the start of every day from our kitchen window. That then also included the closing hour.
This view never bores. At times it's bathed in morning or evening glow, draped in snow and shrouded in clouds that rise up through the crags.
I didn't set out to get super images, just record the vista.

Here's an evening view

That is really something, Richard. Is there a name for that obstruction between you and the horizon?

HC that's Mount Roland. A mild 1234 metres.

Now, I'm a bit wondering.

So if that's not you, and the good wife has long gone.....
Does she read this forum?
I can only assume you nicked the photo from the web.

That happens here routinely... I also often run the truck heater in the morning and the AC in the afternoon.

Awww, come on now. Surely you have some Gawdawful photos of Wendell early in the day that would provide great entertainment for the rest of us. I'm SURE he wouldn't turn around and pay you back.

That kitty looks like it's on a full ration of kibbles and rats.:scream::scream:

Wendell is usually up and out the door before I get up so... Nope. 😉

Yeah, that's my Ellie. AKA "Dee Dee, Mommas baby darling, Skitten, Skit-Skit-Hooray, Toonie, Mommas Love." Wendell, on the other hand, has much less favorable nick names for her that cannot be repeated in a public forum. o_O
