I miss Ted and hope he contacts me again some day
I still "talk" to Pat May on occasion. She got turned off to surveyor's web sites by someone on the "old" website. Muddy Waters?
NM was a horse's rear end, Ted was entertaining, and still is on Facebook

Did he have his machete?[emoji6]
That poster, RADAR; sure is a swell guy.

The disturbing part is realizing that once it was originally posted, someone thought "hey, I think I'll save that to my hard drive"

Disturbing as it may seem, a LOT of people saved that photo and it pops up more frequently than most of us would like. I think blackmail may have been an early motive, but that would be hard to implement considering that the gentleman in question originally posted it himself.

MLB said when he retired the women in the office got into huge fight over who was going to get the pinup.

He also said; When people talk behind your back, they are in a better position to kiss your A**.

I always think of TDD when filling out online info... He apparently put Ted Dura in for his first name and didn't edit it when he put Dura in again for his last name.

I thought so too; take a look at Karoley's post, above.

That's what I thought, too- but later- I figured it was just a re-incarnation thing from the multiple bannings.... Remember when he was "PITATO POB"? and for awhile there he was TED DURA DURA DURA

I still think you could collect all of "Mr. Geodesist's " (sp) posts into a damn handy document about all things GPS.

I rememeber when someone got an electronic copy of one of TDD's plat. Of course people picked it apart and TDD went balistic. That was a good one.
Who was the guy from Wisc. He was often accused of being a fence line surveyor. He would often say something like "if the record title doesn't agree with the marks on the ground, who better to fix the problem?". I often think he was maybe smarter and on track more than the rest of us. To many surveyors don't agree with old work because of the math.

Oh you dippy idiot, that was Richard Schaut. He died a couple of years ago (I don't remember when). He loved calling anyone who disagreed with him a dippy idiot...I wasn't really calling you that.
His last post: https://surveyorconnect.com/community/threads/so-i-got-to-thinking.105628/#post-105976
that was 2011, so maybe more than a couple of years ago.
