A few of you may remember the previous posts where I mentioned my middle son, Kris, the US Marine. Well he did two enlistments, three over seas tours (1 in Iraq and 2 in Afghanistan) and was then a drill sergeant at Parris Island for two years before tending his resignation.

He and his wife live in Savannah GA now and Kris is a full time student in Mech. Engineering. He did one internship at a local Chemical plant, then one at Daniels Defense! That was very cool and he bought me one of their AR's at cost!

Now he has been offered a summer internship at NASA! Only one so far, but they told him to expect more. Currently he's considering the Environmental Life Supports Division at Cape Canaveral. That is very handy since my sister lives in Orlando and he can stay there during the week and then head home (5 hour drive) for weekends and visit the wife and kids (3)!

OK, there I've got it off my chest. Can you tell that I'm a little proud 😉

SCORE!!!!

Seriously though, you have great reason to brag. That's some admirable accomplishments your kid has.

Congratulations to both generations as it took a lot of positive work by both for such great results to occur. Behind every great individual there is a parent or two who was a major influence in their success.
