You won't be bothered anymore by those pesky threads on monuments controlling and ROW distances being holier than monuments.
Maybe the "straddling the tripod" thread will be more interesting.
See ya.

See you on the next go around Keith

ahh come on Keith.... the colonial junior pin senior pin discussion was pretty good...
Perhaps your frustration stems from mistaken thinking that there is an ultimate answer to your question. Professional land surveying isn't about absolutes. It's about accessing risks and advising clients.
The contrary may be shown - Curt Brown
Keith: you are hooked, you're not gonna get this monkey off your back that easy!
A break from posting is always good, but there is so much to learn from those who do things we never heard of.
You ought to come on down and tackle a few here with me, not much $ but lots of fun.
"Mucho Trabajo, Pocoito Dinero" as they say here 😉 (lots of hard work, very little money)
see ya on the flip flop
Well, bye.
yawn.
you tease.

....that ends,
"........because it feels so good when I stop."
I can't say I read all the threads, but I certainly enjoyed listening to the differing opinions. It's a shame people have to get testy about survey-talk; but I guess it takes all kinds.

Promises, promises
Does this mean that Kent wins?
Didn't you have a "taking a break" moment a couple of months ago? See you in a few weeks.
😉
When I was completing studying Land Surveying at the Univ of Ark in Fayetteville, Dr. Knowles let out a gem of sound and valuable advice.
To paraphrase, he stated that the art of land surveying was devloping the art of persuasion.
If you want o be a good land surveyor, you better have the art of persuasion in your trick bag (my words here)
Keith -
I know ---- Right?
I hate to see a good man leave.
Go make some little boards out of big boards and get back to us when you are ready to fight the good fight, again.

> Does this mean that Kent wins?
ha ha ha....good response.
I love it when someone has to "announce" they are leaving. We all better regroup now and think about out disrespect for the great wisdom bestowed upon us.
No offense Keith, but sometimes you need to listen a little bit in addition to making a big issue of things. I think we can all learn once in a while.
cite where the law says the King gets his due. cite where it says that 0.14 isn't close enough. Cite something that says senior lines can't bend.
Maybe we need to read some of those citations that were actually posted now.
