Here comes trouble for us Floridians and Georgia,
Tampa area is going to suffer flooding like they have never seen before. Evacuations from Tampa to Orlando are underway. Interstate 4 is packed eastbound with avg speed (stop and go) is around 20 mph.
Dang thing coming smack over me. If the eye crosses I'll post some pics. ?????ÿ
?ÿ
Wow...stay safe down there!
Wow indeed!
This ever happen to you before?
?ÿ
?ÿ
Not sure the In-laws place will survive that if it tracks the way it's predicted. The eye will pass right over it.?ÿ
Wow.?ÿ When those things come up the Gulf, the resultant rain can really build up all the way up here in Kentucky.?ÿ I would hate to be sitting one out right in the middle of it.
Stay safe!
Thanks, pal. ?ÿSee ya on the inside, then the other side.
Scary how flat and close to sea level that entire Tampa area is. Hoping for the best for everyone down there.
@dougie re: Hurricane Party
Back in the olden days I did, it was more of a sleepover in a safe place, but it was fun just the same. Today I'm more like a sloth than a party animal. ?????ÿ
Clearwater Beach, at the beach, is where my daughter's wedding took place in November 2018.?ÿ Doesn't look like a good place to be today.
I have many friends trying to ride it out on Sanibel and Captiva.?ÿ It's looking really really bad.?ÿ?ÿ

You are kidding. If not those people are going to be in trouble. Are you still in that area? Wish you the best. ?????ÿ
@flga-2-2?ÿ This morning the projections are for the eye to pass AWFULLY close to you.?ÿ Either get out of there or hunker down.?ÿ They're talking up to two FEET of rain.?ÿ Y'all just stay safe.
Andy
@flga-2-2?ÿ ?ÿI moved back home to Illinois last year, but am not kidding about people staying on island.?ÿ I don't get it either.
How are y??all holding up down there?
Everything??s ok here, no power, but minimal wind damage. Can??t say that about the Southwest part though.
?ÿThanks for asking. ?????ÿ
I believe what Brad was really asking was:
(Insert whiny voice of ken Jeong)
But, did you DIE???
But, did you DIE???
Here is what it was like for many....
My youngest daughter's mother-in-law and her mother-in-law's sister have been in Fort Myers the past few days.?ÿ My son-in-law's 90+ year-old grandmother was on her deathbed in a hospital there through the worst of the storm.?ÿ Grandma died while the world was going sideways but she was safe and secure for her Heavenly departure.?ÿ She was my grandson's only living great-grandparent.
@flga-2-2?ÿ I have family in (or at least near) Oviedo.?ÿ They lost power but have a backup generator so they were okay.?ÿ LOTS of water but their home didn't flood.?ÿ Their pond is completely full though.?ÿ Glad to hear that you're good.
Andy
Thanks. The snakes don't know what in hell to do. They are looking for high ground only to be met by us "big pink things" armed with rakes and/or brooms. It's either drown or be beaten to death. ?????ÿ
