I hear some of the country is having a heat wave. I got back from North Carolina on wednesday where SWMBO kept wanting a jacket to wear. It was cold when we landed and today it hasn't got above 45. We just missed out on snow this morning; it was 33 and misty.

That must be a strong pressure ridge seperating the country.

My Mrs ran to town a couple hrs ago, and the temp was 100 here. We need a nice 70 degree compromise.

I like cool weather, so I'm not complaining, and the rain we're getting is really needed.

Although, It would be nice to play golf this weekend.

100-I feel for you!

It looks like much of the country is in the same boat.

Got to about 90 very humid, ugly degrees here today. Supposed to be approx 90 (with the nasty high dew point) for the next 5 days or so.

Please share some of that cooler, nicer weather, I've already had enough of this ugliness.... 😐

Not really, snowed all day yesterday

Here's what it looked like from the back deck around 0700 hrs today -

We definitely need the water, irrigators above the reservoirs may be hurting this year.

We didn't get much snow this year. One storm gave us 4 inches.

55 today

Sea ice is finally breaking up, rivers are open now. Of course, it only takes a Southerly wind to push all that sea ice back in to shore, which will delay the barge from docking here in Nome.

Beautiful 80 degree summer day here in NH today. Put in all the Tomato Plants & pepper plants and planted my other vine crops. Ate my first radish of the season although it was only q-tip size,

We already have several tomatoes and peppers, a few more days we can pick a few. Corn is 2-3 ft high, sunflowers over 3 ft high, and several small squash already showing. Are advantages to hot weather.

No...snowed a little today, but didn't stick.

Typical Memorial Day Weekend in these parts.
