If there is such a thing as the ultimate truth, does that mean then that there must also be an ultimate lie?
If there is it probably starts "Yes Dear " or "No Dear"
As in
"Yes,Dear, your mother is welcome to come stay"
or
"No Dear, your butt does not look big in that"

More like MANY ultimate lies IMO.
My statement above does not imply the need for an ultimate truth.

Remember, when the computer spit out 42, there was no standard deviation, Chi Square bounds, or other statistical "lies."
😉
The ultimate lie would be "There is no truth."

For crying out loud, Brad, you have gotten both deep and dark since I've been away.
In any case, your question can be answered only by...wait for it...yourself!
When the student is ready, the master appears. You may be ready; you have probably been ready for a while and I wouldn't be surprised if the teacher is actually here on this board. It certainly isn't me. I'm a kindergartner myself, but it may be, maybe not, but could be, someone silly. That would be my guess 🙂

If you apply the physical laws of our visible realm to the ethereal there must be equal amounts of both. Newton reckoned that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. And I believe for as much good that occur in our reality there is probably an equal amount of (for lack of a better word) evil.
But then we find ourselves attempting to dissect truths and lies to categorize them. An impossibility I believe. Truths can be evil and lies can ultimately be for a good cause. To identify each would be a matter of perception.
I prefer to believe the ultimate truth would fall in the category of reality as discernible facts within the physics of our existence.
Pilate asked the question "what is truth?"

Another ultimate lie: "There are no lies."
Absolutes never exist.
Ultimately, yes there is, just don't hurry.............
Depends
Jack Nicholson explained this years ago. "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH"
