Banned and then banned himself from returning, I believe, is how it went.
I hear he is still rather active on Facebook.

Kent is alive, well and probably still pin-cushioning corners all over the great State of Texas.?ÿ I haven't spoken with him in a month or so, but last I heard he was still on his mission.?ÿ?ÿ
As for why he no longer frequents our humble scratch board is a story that can only be told by Kent hisself and Wendell.

I got the impression that Kent doesn't know it was just an 8 week suspension, and not a lifetime ban.
I used to enjoy the heated "discussions" that would evolve in Kent's posts. Especially the "leaning" iron rod episode. I only wish that Kent, Keith, and TDD would have had a discussion over a BLM corner. ?????ÿ

There might have been discussions over the years with those players, I can't remember.?ÿ I do remember several multi-page rock-throwing sessions that developed a repugnant esprit de corp?ÿthat was painful to read.
But like a canker sore in my mouth that I keep touching with my tongue to see if it still hurts I would eventually read up and check out which monkey was slinging poo the farthest.
Reminiscence is far more pleasant that the actual affair I think.

Issued one each to my son and his classmate when they worked for me beginning about 5 years ago. Those kids know what they're for.
I'm 37 and I've used them regularly over the course of my career depending on the task. Why wouldn't a surveyor recognize it - did someone come up with a better solution that I haven't heard about?
I prefer to just throw a bunch in my pocket then have the pleasure of squatting down and getting stabbed or the ultimate wakeruppet and have one go deep under the nail when retreiving one
Honestly, my memory doesn't often retain the specific reason(s) a person gets banned, unless it's REALLY bad. I don't remember the exact reason for Kent's ban, but I can assure you it was temporary. He's good at pushing buttons (pardon the pun) and, as I recall, was part of a group timeout.
However, I like Kent and I get along well with him. In fact, he's the original requestor from 2010 that hoped I would build a new forum to replace the POB failure. I wish he would come back.

I did say 'might' not know. The use is esoteric knowledge that some people might ever use.
I was well into my 40s before i even saw one but then again as a late bloomer I missed out on lits of the best training too.
