Anybody have any idea as to the maker and model of these rifles?
Flip them over, the make, model @ serial number "should" be on the lower receiver (at least most AR platforms are).
After a closer look, the data appears to be on that side too (maybe)
Obviously the platform is a modern AR style, as Loyal?ÿ mentioned,?ÿ SHOULD?ÿ ?ÿe stamped or etched, if not...????????
They almost look like the prototypes that company made from TV a while back. RED jacket fire arms.
Or any of the hundreds of other manufacturers of the many clones.
Shop class project using a school-owned 3-D printer.
@loyal?ÿ
I wish I could examine them.?ÿ But all I have is the photo.?ÿ
They were removed from my son's house after his death by a relative.?ÿ Said relative is not being forthcoming with anything.?ÿ Since I'm the estate's executor I'm attempting to come up with a value I can "subtract" from that relative's final disbursement from the estate.?ÿ?ÿ
In that case they are worth a minimum of $10,000.
I'm sorry.?ÿ That really sucks. I've been watching the same thing here from the bleachers of my sig other. Ex died, and all the WTP families out to claim something.?ÿ It's sad that people are that petty.
Yeah.?ÿ They're stolen, unless they have an authorized and notarized letter, let 'em talk to the police. Let them deal with their consequences for being selfish and stupid.
I'm sorry.?ÿ?ÿ
Sometimes executors need an attorney. This appears to be one of those cases.?ÿ
Best of luck..

No joke. If you assign a value like that to the accounting they will magically appear.
Along the lines of assigning an arbitrary value of $10,000 to each rifle, you should consider subtracting the value of the most expensive maker and model of the rifles against your relative's share of the disbursement. If your relative is okay with paying that premium, then you've carried out your duty.

I suppose you want to do this with the least drama and problems.

A Wilson Combat flat top can be seen on their website for $2,800 each.
Who and where and when was the picture taken? Could accessories have been removed before the pic? It would be interesting to know if they were (stolen?) in the current form. It is quite common to spend as much on the optics as the weapons. There are bar codes on the bottoms of them, so I imagine they aren't kitted out with aftermarket triggers, etc. They might just have been a purchase now because Obama might ban them item. If so, they may never have been made ready for actual use.
But, if they were outfitted for actual use, and assuming they are top of the line, and if had optics on them, $5,000 apiece is not outlandish. And you could double that with various accessories.?ÿ
Minimum for what you see there is probably $750 (see Palmetto State Armory) each, firearm only.

There were no accessories with them at the time of sale.?ÿ I've assigned a value of $4200 each for them.?ÿ If the possessing relative wants to argue they need to come up with some documentation of their actual value or turn them over to the estate.?ÿ Otherwise I'm subtracting $8400 from their share of the estate.?ÿ If they agree with the value then I might have left a small amount on the table.?ÿ
Such are the pitfalls of Poker.
i have a message out to an arms dealer/friend of mine for his expert opinion
response is, most AR's do not surpass $1000 each unless they have some specialized/aftermarket work or add ons

Well then at $4200 each I think I'm sittin' about right..?ÿ 😉
To me something that makes me lean to a higher quality is the forward assist, the dust cover, and it appears to me to be a longer barrel. ?ÿA lot of them come with 16? barrel, those appear to be 20? barrel. ?ÿIt also has a decent flash suppressor, a full length top rail, and what looks like a full length M lock hand guard. All just a guess looking at the pic. ?ÿA bottom budget AR is $750 these days and a name brand one is over a $1000.
