Trying to get a list together of good suppliers.

I’ve been purchasing most of my supplies, mag nails, caps, flagging, odds and ends from Hayes.

Rebar and stakes from Home Depot.

Where are you getting your supplies? Who do you trust? I’ve used a few other suppliers but have been disappointed with pricing or delivery.

Lately I'm not using a large volume of supplies. I get brass plugs, plastic caps, and other monuments from Bernsten. 1/2" iron rod I buy at Home Depot and cut them myself.  5/8" rods, hubs, lath, paint, mag nails, flagging from the local survey equipment dealer. Plus a few odds and ends from Allen Precision Equipment.

When I was using more rods I would get them from a local concrete accessories supply place. Be sure to specify that you want your rebar "dowel cut". They would deliver an order of 200 rods no extra charge. And there is a business -whose name momentarily escapes me - that supplies hubs and lath to all these local survey equipment dealers. They will supply local surveyors as well if you are buying by the pallet load.

When I've bought wood, paint flagging, rebar, etc I've just gone down to the local equipment dealers since they sell all of that stuff.  Caps I've ordered from Mountain Mold and Die.
