Long time reader, first time poster.

I am looking for ways to look up case law regarding boundary resolution. I know folks on here have posted links to cases, but how would one look up specific issues that would be pertinent to the boundary project at hand. Specifically in Washington State.

You might try Google Scholar.

I was taking some college classes this past spring, and had access to Lexis Nexis Academic. It was pretty good. I cannot remember what the cost is for the Lexis Nexis, but I never got too far into researching it for further use.

I'd also recommend Jerry Broadus' book, "Washington State Common Law of Surveys and Property Boundaries," published in 2009, which can be purchased through the LSAW's website.

HTH.

I do have this and you are right it is very helpful. I am looking for something where I can look up certain cases by topic. I know that attorney's offices can do this, I was just wanting to do some on my own, for a collection of cases specific to Washington.

Thank you.
