Tuesday we were about 45 miles from the office all day.?ÿ On the return trip, taking the normal route, we passed within one-half mile of five jobs and directly next to two other jobs that are on the current to-do list.?ÿ No connection between any of the jobs.?ÿ Seven times I had to hope the client didn't see us.
There are 23 on the to-do list and 10 on the fieldwork-done-but-not-completed list.?ÿ Have I ever told you I hate drafting??ÿ Must beat myself to get that done in order to see the money.
Have I ever told you I hate drafting??ÿ Must beat myself to get that done in order to see the money.
I'm the same way.?ÿ I currently have 6 jobs waiting on me to get the drafting done.
I only have 3 in cue.?ÿ They should be finished today.
Am I the only one that works about thirty minutes on a drawing and then swaps over to this board for a few minutes??ÿ My attention span on CAD work wanes after about a half hour.?ÿ After a few minutes of checking on all my buddies here I'll jump back and grind away on the drawing.
Seems to work for me.
Who needs a hired gun to draft a bit for you???
??? ?????ÿ
?ÿ
I actually like drafting.?ÿ ???ú?????ÿ It's nice to see the fieldwork turn into something someone can use.
@stlsurveyor sounds to me like some hired guns need to reach out and direct message some others to offer help and see what shakes out. ?ÿRemember to thank Wendell and Angel if things work out well for everyone $.
Its been growing on me, for that very reason.?ÿ My collection has been instilled with the idea of how to save more time on the computer coding and collecting in ways that keep it effective efficient and evolving as the project needs require.
Just upload the raw data to this thread and ask the question: how would you draft this? Pick, print, sign and lodge the best answer, bill client.
- No.?ÿ Without their point label styles and figure prefix data, why bother?
- See number one.
3. All surveyors' drawings use the same styles, so there's not an issue.
Why is it that so many of us hate the drafting?
