Someone posted a similar sale sale some time back and I didn't take advantage (see winter clearance link on front page). Since then I've pretty much given up on redwing and tried a pair of danner's for personal use.
They're holding up; good and comfortable. To me the size runs big... Always a 10 or 10-1/2 EEE in redwing and a 9-1/2 EE in danner.
Seems like there aren't as many styles offered this time. Take it for what's it worth, I find boots are at the sole of my business.
That was probably me that posted about a sale on Danners last summer. I am on my second pair of "Steel Yard" boots.
I also recently had my pair of "Rain Forest" boots recrafted after several years of wear. But those are quite heavy, so I don't use them except for the heaviest going. And these days I'm exclusively in an urban environment. So they stay in the closet.
