I believe this is the right category.

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with referral or networking groups that meet weekly or bi-weekly. If so, would you please share your experiences and was membership worth the fees to join?

I assist a surveyor who is a network member; other members are realtors, title companies and lawyers. That is what is keeping him above water. But be careful about your group members. If they are resentful they will soon be discouraged because they can give a surveyor many more referrals than he can send in the other direction. You have to sell hard the fact that you are keeping them from having problems that cost them negatively, which can actually add to their bottom line, i.e. earning more from less.
