I must have downloaded a update on my QuickBooks when setting up a new computer.
Now when I want to email an ivoice, I have to log onto a QuickBooks site.
Is there a toggle for this?

thanks,

Forrest

I have no clue and I didn't stay at the Holiday Inn last night. But I did email your question to my Sister and this is her response. Hope it helps:

Depending on the version for 2009 as long as I am using Outlook, I can email straight from QB. The newer versions there is a feature when you set up QB to automatically set up the email information. If I don't have outlook open I have to open it for the email to be sent.

Also, go to edit - preferences - send forms and you can set preferences to outlook or qb emails.

In our office, we print to a PDF and then attach that to an e-mail in the normal way.

QuickBooks answer...

From website

QuickBooks does not offer an option to email with Windows Live Mail

QuickBooks is designed to send email messages with Microsoft Outlook or the built-in QuickBooks Email service. QuickBooks cannot send email messages with Windows Live Mail, which is the replacement for Microsoft Outlook Express in Windows 7.

Shoot:-(
