Picking up the phone can wear you out when you have to tell them it will take you two months to do a job they think they needed yesterday and will only take you 15 minutes to do once you arrive at their property.
Gained four new jobs on Monday morning.?ÿ Did not get any finished on Monday.
I work in Farmington for the Farmington Electric Utility System.
Before working for the utility, I was the survey manager for a local engineering and surveying firm.
Let me assure you the County does "NOT" just use one local firm for their surveying needs.
They go through the normal governmental rules and regulations for outside contract work.?ÿ?ÿ
I pretty quickly learned the 1 tool I'd like to have is some sort of ESP so I knew which people had money.?ÿ Since I don't though I try to do the next best thing and quickly throw a ballpark number out there to scare away the light pockets.
Presumably Cooper Dean is referring to a firm that does a lot of expert work and misinterprets that as "working for the County" unless it actually involves county property.

Sometimes the Court will call for a third surveyor when the first two disagree, which is why foolish people spend more money than the little bit of land will ever be worth.?ÿ I think that might be the true meaning.
Had a nice chat today with a soon-to-be 93 year-old widow who is afraid the new owner of the vacant lots next door is cutting down HER trees.?ÿ Her only income is Social Security.?ÿ The guy cutting trees has served as a City Commissioner for several years and has been Mayor at least twice.?ÿ Anyone desperate for a job?
