I was contacted by Millman Land Services today for some quotes for ALTA surveys. Does anyone know anything about them? They are based out of Ohio and I don't know much about them. Any Ohio guys out there that have had any experience with the firm. Private response is okay if you prefer, email should work.

Thanks for the refresher. I did read that thread but I must have forgotten the name. So far they have not mentioned anything to me regarding the scope of services, but it had a sketchy feel right from the get-go.

They're a national survey broker located here in the Akron area. We have a couple of these brokers around here, Bock & Clark is the other major one. Typical the contractor does the complete survey, but uses the brokers border. One major problem with these brokers is that they use the fastest and cheapest surveyor. They also take a long time to pay.
