Shawn nailed it. The problem is with the staff. I appreciate the Surveyors who sit on these boards. I believe that if they are honest they will tell you they are under funded and under staffed. Very frustrating.

I don't care if Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Ellicott were resurrected and taught a course. If they didn't didn't become a licensed continuing education provider and then have their class pre-approved, you aren't going to get credit for that course. Frankly, I think the entire thing is a racket.

well, not sure about the CEU stuff, but if it ends up being an excuse/reason to necessarily leave the pubescent brood in the capable hands of their mother for a few days each year, i suppose it's a tragedy i'll have to live with.
other than needing to get my foot in the PLS door, i grew up in brevard and though the folks have long since made their way back up to the bucolic pastures of another PLS state, they still have a couple little chunks of dirt not too far from the beach. my initial golden parachute plan would take me to the coast before it would take me to the breadbasket, just to clarify.

Auburn University has a great continuing education program. I asked if they would get pre-approval for Florida. They told me they didn't have the budget or the manpower to go through their onerous approval process.

You can take the CEU stuff online.
