I know this is an engineer, not a surveyor doing it, but isn't this an ethics violation in FL?

Lowballing Engineer

What do you think, This guy is from Green Cove, maybe some of you that way may know him. I especially like this part: "Also, we have phenomenal working relationships with our Architectural, Geo-technical, Surveyor, General Contractor, and any other required services for your project. These services can often be discounted or financed thru our management of the project or directly with affiliation, whichever you prefer." So not only is he lowballing his service, but yours as well.

Apparently it is NOT illegal in FL. Surveyors cannot offer to beat any other offer for services ethically, but engineers can. WOW!!! :-O I guess between them and lawyers, the goal is to give Professionals the sleazy look.

A violation of what? Was this on a web site or brochure?

Website. Hence the link in the post. Advertising his services to churches that he will do the work for 50% of any verifiable proposal by another registered firm. To me that is just scum ball tactics.

yes, I've heard of a local Engineering firm that is claiming to provide the surveying for free (they do have a survey division) for any engineering project they land.

Got to be a real bottom-feeder. His ad is aimed at churches, and he's using all the right "christian" words.

Yoy.
