Has anybody heard of Flood Elevation Services, Inc.? Have you dealt with them in the past?

Sounds like a survey broker and just wanted to see if they were legit...

TIA,

Dugger

Umm, right on the front page:

For Your Information: Flood Elevation Services, Inc., is not a land surveying or engineering company. We contract with only highly-qualified licensed Land Surveyors or licensed Engineers in each state to perform Elevation Certificate services to meet the needs of our clients. The lowest price is never the determining factor. This process is called "coordination".

They can contact me as long as they are willing to pay the fee.

so i clicked and entered some fake information (how bad of me)

base quote
$825

so i continued on
they had a series of questions. who to certify to and what was the legal description of the property and size of building, crawl space, etc.

finally they asked for a credit card (step 6 of 6) and I hit cancel...

I am curious what their cut would be... say $700 gets to the surveyor? Control here is limited... not sure about the quality one could get... skeptical...

I got a call from Katherine, 405-378-5836

I searched the number; said she was in Moore OK.

She left a message asking for a price and time frame to do a elevation certificate for a house in zone A.

I should call her back and tell her I turned them into the board.....

I'm just not sure that the board can do anything?
