With the lack of upward pressure on salaries in survey (unless you do construction), in some areas it is impossible to find qualified applicants. That creates a market for people who are experts in finding qualified applicants.
Pipeliners are out of work. Too bad they can??t survey.?ÿ

@dmyhill There is that; I'm also looking for civil & geotechnical engineers and am getting a boatload of those as well.
from the flipside- though i've been getting near-daily feelers from recruiters steadily for the past 6-7 years, they've all turned it up a notch in tone the last month or so.?ÿ like desperate pleas for me to talk to some suit about being an employee again...
this is all based on a linkedin profile.?ÿ i'm no more looking for a job now than i have been at any point this decade.
