anyone yet had the thought of jamming one in a DC/robot/antenna for theft tracking?
thinking there are plenty of dead spaces inside battery compartments and whatnot where one of these could easily fit.

I'd worry about putting them behind a metal cover, if that's what your battery compartment has.?ÿ That would shield the radio frequency signals and seriously reduce the range.
