Amberg Technologies has the best and easiest tunnel surveying applications.

That instrument, cleaned and adjusted, would still be usable today. Unlike our electronic marvels with their planned obsolescence of 7-10 years.

Have to get the HD ones from a building supply house, not the Home Depot ones. 12" PVC is better.

12" diameter sonotubes are light, and inexpensive. I use 4 of them in the back of a Trailblazer. PVC pipe is good too, but more costly.
