Wildlife outside my office window today

My building at work was originally a cross or t shape. Later they boxed it in and made the south courtyard. Then they added more wings to the north and finally boxed that area in too. Both courtyards have a pond. The south one has big koi, smaller fish, and several turtles and frogs. It's also open to the exterior at one corner. The north courtyard is closed in and has some small fish--when the egret hasn't visited recently.?ÿ

Two female and male mallards have been hanging out and we now have 11 ducklings!

I was afraid the ducklings wouldn't be able to get out of the pond because the water level is a few inches below the deck...no problem for them!
