That is a neat device you have there. Curious though if the tracks are flat and level locating one is fine but if the track is pitched (super-elevated) how would you capture that? Would you have to shoot the other side or do you have some other gadget or gizmo to capture the pitch??ÿ

The trolley has both an inclination sensor and a gauge sensor.?ÿ The robot tracks the prism and the software stores locations at whatever interval you want in the field.?ÿ The office processing software takes the measurement to the prism, you enter the prism height in the field software, the measurements from the sensors, and the known geometry of the trolley and outputs the following:

N, E, EL for each rail and the centerline of track

Cant (superelevation)

Gauge measurement

All of these are at the interval, or any location you store, in the field software.
