360 Land Surveying is currently looking for a Survey CAD Technologist to join our team of Geomatics Engineers,
British Columbia Land Surveyors and Survey Technologists in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

360 Land Surveying provides legal, topographic and precision surveys to the construction and land development
sectors as well as municipalities and engineering firms in the lower mainland. We are actively engaged with a
number of clients throughout Vancouver, the North Shore and Bowen Island. Our diverse team of energetic and
innovative individuals take pride in providing timely and accurate surveys using leading edge survey technology
and techniques.

Responsibilities
As a member of our team in the role of CAD technologist you will work alongside our core geomatics
professionals and contribute to the shared success and growth of 360 Land Surveying. The responsibilities of the
position include:

  • Field data processing, survey computations and quality control;
  • Drafting to prepare topographic and legal plans;
  • Project set up, land title research and legal plan interpretation;
  • Occasional field work.

Requirements
Motivated and detail oriented individuals who satisfy the following requirements are encouraged to apply:

  • Post-secondary education in surveying, engineering and/or CAD or equivalent experience;
  • Knowledge and experience (2+ years) with AutoCAD software (Civil 3D, Raster Design, AutoCAD Map);
  • Understanding of survey fundamentals, legal survey standards, and knowledge of the cadastral system of British Columbia (particularly Lower mainland, Southern Coast and Vancouver Island regions);
  • Experience drafting and calculating legal, topographic and construction plans;
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software.
