It's been my experience; that you can send someone a message but you can't attach anything, when you send an email directly from this site. You might be able to paste something into the body though...
I think it's some kind of security thing..;-)

It sounds like you have some good leads. It makes me feel like things might be turning around now. Not quickly, not soon, but hopefully turning. Anyway, I hope you find something that suits you.
