The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Instrument Technician-Survey for immediate employment in the Rocky Hill, CT office. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to working outdoors year round performing topographic survey and construction stakeout services. The position provides an opportunity to learn the profession of land surveying with potential to advance to crew chief, office technician or licensed land surveyor. Position reports to crew chief and will be part of a 2 person survey crew.
This position requires the flexibility to work outside year round, the ability to operate or learn to operate survey equipment, and the willingness to work in a team environment. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated.
