You laugh but that actually has happened. I believe it was the county surveyor for Harris County sometime back in the twenties, who had been bitten by an insect he wasn't familiar with, went on to describe the bite and subsequent affliction. There is even a fair entomological sketch on the next page. Some of the old county surveyor notes are good entertainment.
good one. Good sketch of a hand, by the way, and I like the way your text curves with the paper. You're a good cartoonist.
I wonder how they would abbreviate that on their data-collector machine.
The Castle "AAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH"
That was one of the best movies ever.

Thanks! At first, I struggled with how to draw the hand. Then it dawned on me -- while I drew it, I could just use my hand as a model (duh). I was quite pleased with the results.
The only thing I wish I'd done is show part of a walkie-talkie on the left side so it would be obvious that the note taker was just transcribing.
The Castle "AAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH"
Howling with derisive laughter!
That rabbit is dynamite!
I think you get that he is transcribing by the time you finish reading what he is writing, or maybe even a few seconds after you finish reading it. To me, it is funnier when it takes you a second to "get" the joke.
I've had good ideas before (I think) but just couldn't do the art work. Having a sense of humor and being able to draw it on paper is a real talent to me. I might work on it, but it seems like some people have a better natural talent for it.
You are welcome to send your suggestions to me privately and I'll see what I can do. I would happily give you credit and a link to your website or some other form of appreciation. 🙂
