Canadian bills are "Biaxially oriented polypropylene" (ie/ plastic) these days. And it's not the technology that lags, it's the willingness of leadership to take any sort of chance on change. Eliminate the penny, dollar coins, hanging chads, metric system, etc.

(me: Sir, this measurement from rock to lot corner is the easy part. You are going to have to change your subdivision line AND title to the true section corner, which is the rock.
