Anybody know where I can get a power cable for a D13S Distomat at a reasonable cost? Alternately, is there another way to power up this equipment? I have this item in my collection of obsolete survey equipment. I don't know if it works or not.
I've got the battery box and lights for that T-4 in your avatar.
My experience with those was perhaps a D12 with all those toggle switches to enter the vertical angle to reduce the SD to HD and it had a large brick battery that hung on one of the clip tabs on a tripod leg.
The electrical system is 12v and about 1 A, red positive and black negative.
A google search of the title wording of your original post will yield a manual, btw it lacks the last few pages. I would post the address, except it is a direct download link.

I have two DI3S distomats.?ÿ The cable is a 3-pin lemo cable.?ÿ It's been a while since I looked, but I think you need an adapter or an old Wild Heerbrugg battery that accepts 3 pins to power it.?ÿ The next time I'm at the storage unit, I'll check if I have a spare cable.
Mike, I've sent you an email /Private message through the RPLStoday forum regarding your T-4 battery box and lighting set.

I have one of those together with the Wild theodolite that comes with it for a "total station" setup of yesterday.?ÿ
Why do you need to power it up? All my old survey equipment, I just clean it and display them as-is.
From my experience with old electronics that have been in long storage, plugging them without
checking the capacitors in the power supply might fry them out.

I got a DI3 without "S", with cable and aligator clips.
And the 3 Pin Lemo socket could be a Lemo ERA.0S.303 or ERA.1S.303 i think.
So as Plug you may need Lemo FFA, 0S or 1S, 303.
Pictures are older.
I could have a closer look at the cable/plug/Pin assignment next time in storage if needed?

I have here the pictured Wild cable that was used to connect the Wild DI3S to an external battery.
It has the same 3-pin connectors on both ends.?ÿ The nominal diameter of the end of the connectors is 12.5 mm.?ÿ It is about 90 inches long.
This cable appears to be unused.
You could modify this cable by cutting it in two and adding battery clips, or use it as-is if you come up with the correct battery and matching charger.
Your forum profile indicates you are in the United States.?ÿ If so, I will send you this cable by U.S. Postal Service if you pledge to make a $25 donation to Wendell, the proprietor of this site.
