In front of the China Surveyors Chiropratic Center. Looking at that guy bent over makes my back hurt with all that extra length on the tripod to extend.

Little known fact: traditionally if a Chinese survey crew member set the tripod legs to low for the instrument man to use without bending over he had to buy the noodles at lunch; the slang term for this was “Lo Mein Legs”

Boy, that artist has a lot of brass, er, bronze. 1950's tripod, 1990's+ total station, and set up lower than any skilled instrument operator. Evidently he saw no need of consulting anyone with real world experience before his design.
