Verifying surveys? Sounds like surveying to me without a license.
"CAN YOU CREATE A LEGAL DESCRIPTION FROM A SURVEY?
yes, if you provide us with a survey, we can create the map, and also verify that the survey is correct."
I consider the above statement a task that can only be provided by a licensed surveyor. I wonder if they have any on staff?
Have a great weekend! B-)
Have CAD program and deed writing software, will travel.
I would think this person creates more problems than solutions.
Their examples are generated by Net Deed Plotter...
It is a good mapcheck program I used to use when employed by Too Large Surveying Firm, but have not ponied up any money for a version for my use.
I can run mapchecks in AutoCAD LDD, but am curious what others use and what else is out there?

CAUTION TITLE COMPANY AT WORK!!
On their "Samples" page the top row right hand pdf includes a completed survey by a licensed surveyor. There are 3 pages to the example and their assignment of errors does not agree with the surveyor's field measurements. The differences appear minor and my guess would be the source is an adjustment of the field measurements to produce a "perfect closure" for the client.
Sounds like another source of "I've been told your survey is wrong." Also noticed "Legal Description Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Traditional Title Services, Georgia's largest and most experienced title company." You fellows in Georgia may have your hands full with this one.
CAUTION TITLE COMPANY AT WORK!!
The poor closure shown on page 1 of 3 of the example is due to the wrong distance for the N72°53'18"E call.
:'( DDSM
They are just doing the jobs that Professional Surveyors wont do (at least at the price they want to pay).;-)
They brag on their "dedication to pushing the boundaries of accuracy . . . ." Is that good?
Cheers,
Henry
What do you make of this... a problem to report
these crop up in almost every state from time to time and usually get shut down by the State Board on Surveying.
factually, a scary piece of crud to appear anywhere.:bored:
