There are no CoGo type surveying apps available.
All of them are useless garbage obviously written by some freshman learning how to program.
Same with iOS.

Find-A-Control is available for Android.

PDAnet will connect your old data collector that doesn't have WiFi to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth tethering, I have an older Nomad that I do this with.

As a non-HP user, I like Mobi Calculator (Android only). You can customize the keys and all your calculations are stored in a history similar to a browsing history for easy blunder detection.

There's been discussion previously, trying to find similar.

https://surveyorconnect.com/threads/surveying-app-for-android.283807/&apos ;">Another similar to above
Can't find the one I was looking for, but there's a list somewhere. A great phrase coming from a surveyor! 😛

I've Samsung phone and Tablet with S Pen.
They make for brilliant notes, diagrams etc.
But that probably doesn't help you, assuming you don't have such a device.
I didn't like Evernote. Not a Cloud fan.
There are some useful Diary Apps that take notes, drawn ie,.
Also some graphics.
But it's hard to recommend from me as I chose ones that had S Pen support, ie palm rejection so fingers and skin doesn't draw on screen.
Orange Diary is very good.
Actually use their time, project recording application (Time Punch Pro).
That's probably my most used application. Has mileage included, backup and restore along with export is rock solid. They make very robust apps and for me a few useful ones.
I also use Journal Notes Multimedia.
But for field notes if needed just standard Samsung S Pen app.
I find I still prefer field book and the screen doesn't break on them!

Handy GPS
Point Scale Factor (both same Aussie author)

Opera as my preferred browser.

Standard Android email app.

Business Calendar Pro. Really like the Templates where you can save an event as a Template and reuse. It syncs across tablets easily, only issue it's easy to change time zone without realising. Thankfully I arrived å? hour early.

Thumbs Keyboard is very customisable but SwiftKey has the prediction side wrapped up. It thinks for you.
However Thumbs has shortcuts till the cows come home.
They make life so simple, just type a few letters and it fills in rest. Rsrs and it fills in my full name, Registered Land Surveyor, email, address phone numbers, etc.
Well worth the look.
