Anyone else still doing these for static obs.?

GNSS and we're still stuck in the '90s.....:-|

Not since 1998.

They get easier to do once you realize that no one will ever look at them.

I shouldn't admit it, but I never spent a lot of time looking at the regions' visibility diagrams. However you would be surprised where the construction people would set a control point and then want it "GPS'd".
