Does anybody have a contact at the Navy, or know the branch/department that one would contact to obtain improvement plans for old naval air stations?
I'm sure they have some sort of archival department.

I don't have a contact in California, but as far the department to start looking at I'd guess NAVFAC.

I'd like to check that website out, but our IT department says it is an unsecured connection....guess they want permissions to our system that we are not willing to grant.

That happens to me all the time with military websites. Our IT Department is blocking sites that are trying to look into our server, the military is looking to see who's accessing their websites. It's a Mexican standoff.
