An almost 2 hour OPUS-RS solution today confirms the level loop from NGS benchmark ("J 11"/KV1428) through "L 362 Reset"/KV2878 to the project.
The project contours drop 6.4'. The project overlays the LIDAR +/- a 1/2 contour for 90% of the area.
Currently there is no concern for the bum benchmark. We have 3 way agreement, OPUS-RS established elevation, level run from a good benchmark and in conformity to PA LIDAR data that overlaps New Jersey.

Thanks for the update Paul. One thing I can say about surveying, there is always a new problem right around the corner.

You received quick, succinct and knowledgeable replies that L 362 Reset was not KV2878
From my experience doing mark recovery for the NGS, talking to NGS folk like Dave and state advisors that NGS will not remove a data sheet simply because it is not recovered even though you may positively know that the mark has been destroyed or endered useless for one reason or another.
BTW I think that I saw Elvis the other day too.
