I came across this unusual bench bench this past weekend in the downtown area of Pierre, SD. The arrow points to North. It is in front of the old Pierre Bank building.

That's pretty cool...I have never seen anything quite like that.
P.S. Looks like Cool Hand Luke has been down that street.

Is the elevation correct? Very interesting. Installed at a time when people were not in a big rush.
